Just in case you need a laugh.........
Somehow I missed this in my youth........... our local DJ played this this morning and I had to laugh along with it.
No, this is not the recording that was made when he just plain forgot the words - or was too stoned to get thru his performance without some major slip-ups... This was based on a guy in the audience wearing a poorly placed toupee and a couple girls behind him making fun of him... Elvis saw them and it cracked him up.
Helps you understand why so many singers sing with their eyes closed or stare up into the balcony area where they can't see anything anyway because of the lighting. Seeing the audience can be really distracting as we see here.
